Born on the six nations rez in Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada. Gary is Cayuga and Wolf clan member. Farmer has been a stage and screen actor for 32 years, playing in such popular native american themed movies like, "Smoke Signals", "Powwow Highway" and "Dead Man". He currently lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico and plays harmonica with his own band, Gary Farmer and the Troublemakers. He has one album published, "Love Songs and Other Issues". Gary is currently working on his second entitled, "Homesick Blues".
